Just to let you in on the Funderburke world, God is moving our family to Bradenton, Florida.  This past Sunday I accepted the call to be the Minister to Children at West Bradenton Baptist Church and their second campus, North River Church.  This is a great church with great people who are passionate about reaching families for Christ.  I can’t wait to see what God has in store!  It has been such an incredible experience walking with Him down this path and it is exciting to know that it is just a glimpse of what is next.

We have been on staff at Westwood for 10 years and we have been a part of the church for at least 15.  Needless to say, this has not been an easy decision, but we are confident that this is the next adventure that God has for us.  If I can find the words I will blog about this more specifically another day, but God has blessed us here in Alabama with the very best friends anyone could ever hope for.  I dread the goodbyes.

I will share more in the days to come, but for now your prayers are appreciated as we end a precious ministry here, pack up our world and head south.  We have a lot to do over the next couple of weeks.  If anyone likes to pack, please let me know.
